Sara Olocco is a Piemonte specialist who, following the footprint of Ian d’Agata, is learning her way through the native grapes of Italy one region at the time. Former manager at OTTO Enoteca and Pizzeria, and after working for G.D. Vajra in Barolo, she is now free-lance consulting between Italy and New York.
Born and raised in Piemonte with half Sicilian blood, her favorite meal is Aperitivo; and when she’s not pouring wine you can find her in som
eone’s cellar around Italy or making jams from her garden. Beware: she speaks extremely fast and she talks with her hands….a lot.
